Broadway Festival of South Florida Returns July 20-22, 2018

The Broadway Festival of South Florida reflects the full range of rich, diverse, ethnic, historical, and contemporary theatre arts activity in Broward County, Florida, that enhances the region as a cultural destination, encouraging cultural tourism. 

2017 Festival Highlights:
  • A "Broadway Idol" song contest
  • Broadway Poster Contest
  • Master classes with nationally-recognized, influential professional artists including Baayork Lee ("A Chorus Line") and Gerard Alessandrini (creator, writer and director of "Forbidden Broadway")
  • Audition workshops
  • Broadway on the Plaza - A FREE Community Theatre Fair 
  • An art exhibition of Broadway posters featuring top five contest finalists
  • Two concert performances of the Tony Award-winning hit musical, DREAMGIRLS, starring American Idol finalist, LaKisha Jones
