CITY OF MIRAMAR FIRE PROTECTION ASSESSMENT FEE 

RESIDENTIAL HARDSHIP EXEMPTION


Miramar - Effective 2004, all residential units were assessed a Fire Protection Assessment Fee. You may be eligible for an exemption from this fee if you meet certain criteria and submit an application with all of the required documentation.

The City of Miramar will accept applications for a Residential Hardship Exemption for the Fire Protection Assessment Fee for the 2021 tax year beginning on May 1st through July 31st. Qualified homeowners must meet strict income and residence eligibility criteria. Applications are available at the Multi-Service Complex facility and can be downloaded here.

Applicants must submit a completed application, with copies of all required documentation prior to July 31, 2021, to: City of Miramar, Multi-Service Complex , Attention: Fire Fee Hardship Exemption 6700 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida, 33023.
