Project 10: Pembroke Road Expansion from Douglas Road to University Drive


SCOPE: Roadway expansion from 4 to 6 lanes, including median, buffered bike lanes, sidewalks.  Also, buffer wall along residential properties if warranted by FDOT analysis/studies.

SCHEDULE: Design in 2021 and Construction in 2027.

Project 11: University Drive Mobility Project


SCOPE: Construct buffered bike lanes, sidewalks, lighting along University Drive between Riviera Boulevard and Pembroke Road.  In addition, a pedestrian bridge across the canal is proposed at Miramar Boulevard to connect University Drive to Utopia Drive.

SCHEDULE: Design in 2020 and Construction in 2022.

Project 12: Dykes Road Drive Mobility Project


SCOPE: Construct buffered bike lanes along Dykes Road between Bass Creek Road and Pembroke Road, including the extension of the eastbound right turn lane from Miramar Parkway onto I-75.

SCHEDULE: Design in 2020 and Construction in 2023.

Project 13: Roundabout at SW 148th Avenue and Basscreek Road

SCOPE: Intersection safety improvements, including the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of SW 148th Avenue and Basscreek road, and a walking path from Coral Cover Elementary school.

SCHEDULE: Design in 2020 and Construction in 2023.

Project 14: Bike Lanes along Miramar Parkway and SW 184th Ave.


SCOPE: Construct 7’ buffered bike lanes along Miramar Parkway between SW 184th Avenue and SW 172nd Avenue.; and 10’ shared path along SW 184th Avenue between Basscreek road and Miramar Parkway.  Also, ADA improvements at the intersection of Miramar Parkway and SW 184th Avenue.

SCHEDULE: Design in 2020 and Construction in 2023.

Project 15: SW 64th Avenue Complete Street Improvements.


SCOPE: Construct 8’ shared path and sidewalks along SW 64th Avenue between SW 35th Street and Pembroke Road.

SCHEDULE: Design in 2020 and Construction in 2023.

Project 16: FL Turnpike Project 446223-1 from the Turnpike Extension (SR 821) to Johnson Street


SCOPE:

o    Widening Turnpike from six to eight lanes north of Miramar Parkway

o    Add auxiliary lanes

o    Nosie walls north of Miramar Parkway

SCHEDULE: Design in 2022 and Construction in 2024

Project 17: SR-7/US-441 Transit Corridor Improvements


SCOPE: Construct sidewalks along SW 25th Street and SW 33rd Street between SR-7 and SW 64th Avenue

SCHEDULE: Design in 2022 and Construction in 2023

Project 18: Miramar Bike and Pedestrian Mobility Improvements – FM 437795.1


SCOPE: Construction of buffered bike lanes, shared use paths and sidewalks along SW 148th Avenue, Miramar Parkway, SW 68th Ave and SW 25th Street. Project to be completed using the Local Agency Program (LAP) delivery method. 

SCHEDULE: Design in 2022 and Construction in 2024.

Project 18 - Miramar Bike and Pedestrian Improvements

Project 19: Miramar Complete Streets Phase 3 – FM 443945.1


SCOPE: Construction of sidewalks, installation of pedestrian light poles and ADA compliant ramps between SW 62nd Ave and SR-7 along adjoining streets from 18th Street to 40th Court. Project to be completed using the Local Agency Program (LAP) delivery method. 

SCHEDULE: Design in 2023 and Construction in 2025

Project 20: AC Perry K-8 Sidewalk Improvements


SCOPE: Construct approximately 12,000 linear feet of sidewalk along various streets in the vicinity of A.C. Perry K-8, to provide a safer pedestrian path.
