Requirements
- 14 to 21 years of age (However you must join by the age of 18)
- Be of good moral character
- Maintain “C” average or better while in school
- Not have a criminal record
Funding
There is no cost to join the Miramar Police Explorer program. The program is funded by the Miramar Police Department, the Miramar Police Benevolent Association (PBA), as well as other sources that pay for the associated costs of running the program. Successful applicants even receive their uniform free of charge.
