The City of Miramar South Central/Southeast Focal Point Adult Day Care Center is a licensed non-residential adult day care services program that provides supervised care to adults 18 years of age or older in a supportive and safe setting. The program provides services that include, but are not limited to the following: therapeutic activities, nutrition, health and personal care and transportation.
Through adult day care services programming, clients served are able to live and engage in the community and provide the family system an opportunity to meet daily obligations, fulfill responsibilities and provide respite. The South Central/Southeast Focal Point Adult Day Care Center offers programs that strive to optimize the dignity, choice, autonomy, and quality of life of the population served.
Slated for completion in the fall of 2016, the NEW South Central/Southeast Focal Point Adult Day Care Center is a state-of-the-art facility located in central Miramar.
“The City is excited to have an opportunity to have such an asset like the Adult Day Care. It allows the City to have the full spectrum of care for our aging population,” stated Marva Ricketts, Director of Social Services.
