The City of Miramar officially welcomed Ecolab, a Fortune 250 Company, with the opening of its Latin American Headquarters at 2901 SW 149th Ave; Miramar, Florida 33027 on August 3, 2016.
The opening of Ecolab will also engineer employment growth in Broward County and Miramar with the addition of 50 more jobs to the South Florida region. Ecolab is a recognized global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services. The company’s 47,000 associates deliver comprehensive solutions and on-site service to promote safe food, maintain clean environments, optimize water and energy use, and improve operational efficiencies for customers at more than one million locations in more than 170 countries.
At the Grand opening ceremony, John Guttery, Ecolab’s Senior Vice President & President of its Latin American Division incited that Ecolab chose the City of Miramar because of its strategic location to sea and airports, access to diverse talent and livability.
