[ARCHIVED] A SMART choice for parents!

The City of Miramar has officially designated Saturday, September 10, 2016, from 10 a.m. to noon its Open House Day for “Miramarvels Early Childhood Academy.” The City’s highly-credentialed early childhood program has been a staple in the community for more than 30 years and was recently re-branded as an Academy to better showcase the City’s commitment to quality early childhood education offering infant-through-afterschool-care to the community.

The Miramarvels Early Childhood Academy is operated by the City of Miramar’s Social Services Department. “The Miramarvels Early Childhood Academy is a great option when you live and work in Miramar and reminds us that the City is vested in providing a solid foundation for our youth, families and elderly -- It’s Right Here In Miramar®,” stated Marva Ricketts, Director of the City’s Social Services Department.

The Open House will be held simultaneously at all City early childhood locations throughout Miramar:
Coceano 2001 Douglas Road
Fairway 3700 Largo Drive

Silver Shores 15700 Pembroke Road
Sunset Lakes 2801 SW 186th Avenue

Attending families will have the opportunity to register, tour the facilities, meet staff and ask questions. For more information about the City’s Early Childhood facilities or the Open Houses, please contact Karen Lewis, Early Childhood Superintendent at 954.602.3361 or email KLewis@miramarfl.gov.
