When Miramar Park of Commerce’s (MPC) developer, Sunbeam Properties, Inc. created the industrial park, it was also required to implement water and sewer system improvements to serve the development. Due to growth and general equipment lifecycle factors, a service agreement between the City of Miramar and Sunbeam Corp. for Water and Sanitary Sewage facilities was most recently sought. Time, capacity and the wherewithal to provide for the important improvements, contributed to MPC’s request of the City. MPC’s motivation has activated an arrangement that by design will increase the productivity of the Park’s existing utilities infrastructure. In doing so, Sunbeam has ensured that the following accommodations were met:
1. A Transfer ownership of the improvements to the City.
2. Provide for an Easement to the City for the improvements.
3. Provide for a one-year Maintenance Bond for the improvements.
Collectively, they have given the City a green light to deploy resources identified as necessary to address modifications for these upgrades; instantly contributing towards a bettering of the business community. Business……It’s Right Here In Miramar!®
