The City of Miramar YOU CARD holders were entered into a nationwide contest facilitated by the cards’ operator, Spot On® -- the contest entitled Small Business Saturday Win-Win-Win Contest! was conducted in the spirit of Small Business Saturday 2016 (November 26.) It gave card holders and merchants opportunities to enter to win I-Pads while they received their goods and services. The YOU CARD, a City of Miramar endorsed affinity program, puts the City’s brand It’s Right Here in Miramar® in the hands of more than 16,000-plus consumers and growing who patronize City-based businesses every day. The Card also includes City of Miramar marketplace services (childcare, swimming lessons, etc.) actively available. Currently, the City of Miramar’s YOU CARD program has 41 businesses linked to the program and steadily increasing.
Small Business Saturday Win-Win-Win Contest! winners were recently announced as 545 degrees banh mi cafe in Davie, FL took the merchant category and a Spot On cardholder from Heavenly Yogurt in San Diego took the customer win.
Cindy Petrysak, Spot On’s® Regional Director, commented on the City of Miramar’s participation by expressing.. “Thank you to City of Miramar Businesses/Consumers who were encouraged to participate in Small Business Saturday by bringing about recognition of how important it is for consumers to use their dollars at these local businesses during the start of the holiday seasons. SpotOn® rewarded business owners were added in a drawing where they simply had to send out available template-marketing messages to their customer base. Consumers were also incentivized to visit these businesses to be placed in the drawing. SpotOn® will continue to encourage an awareness of local business participation with additional incentives.
