[ARCHIVED] Hurricane-Related Building Permit Fee Waivers for Walk-In Clients!

Permit Fees Waived

CITY COMMISSION GREENLIGHTS HURRICANE-RELATED BUILDING PERMIT FEE WAIVERS FOR WALK-IN CLIENTS FOR 60 DAYS

At the City of Miramar’s Commission meeting on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, the Commission committed to activating a permit fee waiver period for 60 days to assist property owners with addressing damage resulting from Hurricane Irma. Businesses and homeowners alike are both allowed to activate this provision on a walk-in basis. These permit fee waivers apply to all hurricane related applications received between September 5, 2017 and November 4, 2017.

In addition to ensuring compliance with the Florida Building Code, the building permit process provides verification of contractor licenses and insurance.

For more information on hurricane-related building permit fee waivers, please contact the City’s HELPLINE, (954) 602-HELP (4357).
