Aura Hayles-Thomas- Legislative Aide to Commissioner Alexandra P. Davis

Aura Hayles-Thomas is an energetic marketing professional with 7+ years of experience in social media management, content marketing, and branding, delivering profitable solutions to drive sales, attract and maintain customers, and build a solid company brand. She has a special talent for enhancing company marketability through digital and print marketing tools as well as clear, effective social networking messaging.  

Aura generated success from Bjou Bjou LLC, an online Afrocentric platform created to empower women artisans which then led to the creation of Social Soso (SocialSoso.com), a digital media company dedicated to helping businesses build an online presence. 

In 2019, Aura was named as Legacy Magazine's South Florida's Top 40 under 40. Aura is currently serving as Legislative Aide to Commissioner Alexandra P. Davis (miramarfl.gov/Davis) and Assistant Programs & Marketing Director at New Hope Economic Development Inc (newhopeeconomic.org), a non-profit dedicated to meeting the needs of the people in the community by providing an atmosphere of learning and encouragement in order to increase and maintain self-worth, self-efficacy, and family values. She is also an active board member of Ti Chouchou Manman Inc. (tichouchou.org), a non-profit whose mission is to change the lives of children of low socio-economic class of Haiti with a high standard of care and education while preserving the family unit.  

Above all, Aura is a mother to one beautiful, intelligent six-year-old daughter named Jaida.
