Aura generated success from Bjou Bjou LLC, an online Afrocentric platform created to empower women artisans which then led to the creation of Social Soso (SocialSoso.com), a digital media company dedicated to helping businesses build an online presence.
In 2019, Aura was named as Legacy Magazine's South Florida's Top 40 under 40. Aura is currently serving as Legislative Aide to Commissioner Alexandra P. Davis (miramarfl.gov/Davis) and Assistant Programs & Marketing Director at New Hope Economic Development Inc (newhopeeconomic.org), a non-profit dedicated to meeting the needs of the people in the community by providing an atmosphere of learning and encouragement in order to increase and maintain self-worth, self-efficacy, and family values. She is also an active board member of Ti Chouchou Manman Inc. (tichouchou.org), a non-profit whose mission is to change the lives of children of low socio-economic class of Haiti with a high standard of care and education while preserving the family unit.
Above all, Aura is a mother to one beautiful, intelligent six-year-old daughter named Jaida.
