Finally, a way for Generation Y to become Generation M (Miramar)! Millennials (also known as Generation Y) need to understand what it means to be part of a community. The Mayor Messam’s Millennials in Miramar “Generation M” Initiative will provide exciting, creative and entrepreneurial activities for Miramar Millennials to experience the value of giving back to their community, thereby setting an example for the next generation. This Initiative will feature a group of 20-25 Miramar Millennials, born between 1982 and 2002, who will develop, propose and execute meaningful and beneficial projects for youth and young adults to actively engage in their community and contribute to enhancing the quality of life for people of all ages in Miramar.
