MASH (Miramar Assisting Seniors in their Homes): is a one time emergency assistance program for Miramar residents over the age of 60. This program is able to assist with up to $600, once a year, to cover an emergency or a final notice bill. Income eligibility and proof of emergency is required. EHEAEP (Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly): This program provides assistance for home-energy emergencies to qualified, low-income households with at least one person 60 years of age or older. Applicants must be Broward County residents. Income eligibility and emergency is required.
