Land Development Code

The Miramar Land Development Code ("LDC") is a set of regulations that govern how land can be used and developed within the City. The purpose of the LDC is to ensure orderly growth, protect property values, promote public health and safety, and align development with the goals, policies, and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan.

This Land Development Code is enacted pursuant to the requirements and authority of the Community Planning Act, F.S. Ch. 163, Part II and the general powers confirmed in F.S. Ch. 166 (Municipalities) and the Article VIII, Section 2, Florida Constitution of 1968.
