Multiple development applications have been filed with the City of Miramar to allow an automatic car wash facility in the site of a former Sun Trust Bank.  The proposed car wash facility is located at 8250 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida 33025, and identified by Broward County Parcel ID number: 5141-2811-0010.

The City of Miramar will hold a Public Hearing on these applications as noted below:

CITY COMMISSION: Monday, September 14th, 2026 @ 7:00 PM

The Public Hearing will be held at the Commission Chambers of Miramar Town Center City Hall, 2300 Civic Center Place, Miramar, Florida 33025.  The City Commission will review the development proposal, consider the findings of fact of the Development Review Committee, consider the recommendation of the Community Appearance Board, consider the recommendation of the Planning & Zoning Board, as well as any oral or written public comments, and make a final decision regarding these applications.

All interested persons may appear and be heard at the meeting.  Written comments received prior to the public hearing will be made a part of the official record on the matter.

Information regarding this application, including a written report, may be obtained prior to the community meeting from the Building, Planning & Zoning Department at 2200 Civic Center Place, Miramar, Florida. The Department can be reached by phone at (954) 602-3264 or pandz@miramarfl.gov.  Please refer to the application number when calling. The public hearing may be continued from time to time.
