Cancer Walk

The City held a Cancer Walk around the lake at City Hall on October 31, 2024 where employees came together to support the fight against cancer. This walk not only raises awareness but also celebrates the strength and resilience of city employees, some of whom are cancer survivors.

During the event, Commissioners and the City Manager took a moment to recognize and honor employees journeys, sharing stories of hope and perseverance. Together, we walk side by side around the lake, uniting as a team in support of all those impacted by cancer and reinforcing our commitment to a healthier, brighter future for everyone.
