The City of Miramar's Office of Marketing and Communications reviews and approves or declines all film permit requests; however, the Broward County Film Commission / Film Fort Lauderdale now processes all film permit applications. It liaises with City of Miramar to facilitate production needs, ensure compliance with City regulations, and provide important information to help keep film projects on schedule and on budget. The Broward Film Commission also provides guidelines, details, restrictions and recommendations for film permits.

The name of the insurance production company.
The name of the insurance company.
A policy which provides at least $1,000,000 of Comprehensive General Liability for each instance of claim and 2,000,000 of General Agreggate Insurance.
If the company is using company owned vehicles, $300,000 Automobile Liability.
The statutory limits for workers compensation and employers liability.
The policy number and dates of policy coverage, including expiration date.
The following clause must be included under "Description of operations/locations/vehicles/restrictions/special items.": FOR GENERAL LIABILITY ONLY: THE CERTIFICATE HOLDER IS NOTED AS ADDITIONAL INSURED WITH RESPECT TO LIAILITY.
Please email
film@broward.org
or fax to 954-765-4681.
