Compensation & Classification

Compensation & Classification carries out the management and administration of the City's compensation system as provided by the City Code, collective bargaining agreements, and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains job descriptions and pay plans
  • Conducts job audits and salary surveys
  • Determines job classification and FLSA status
  • Implements salary changes in accordance with collective bargaining agreements
