Residential Quick Service Permitting

Purpose

“Residential Quick Service Permitting” is an early service that provides a streamlined permitting process for minor residential projects (max 5 permits per contractor).

  • Structural - Fence, Driveway, Shed, Re-Roof, Patio Slab, Windows & Doors, Shutters, Screen Enclosures & Awnings
  • Electrical - Service Change, Temporary Power-New Construction, Emergency Repair, & EV Charger
  • Mechanical - Air Conditioning Change Out
  • Plumbing - Water Heater Replacement, Backflow Preventer, Re-Piping House, Water Service, Septic to Sewer, Sewer Line

Process

The process coordinates a team of permit clerks, plan examiners and zoning reviewers. This team reviews all pertinent documents and drawings on the same week. This allows customers to receive their permits the following Monday instead of going through the normal process, which takes about 2 weeks.
