The City of Miramar has mobilized a citywide relief effort to support Caribbean neighbors in preparation for the storm’s potential devastation.
Lois Mailou Jones was an African American artist and educator who dedicated her art to highlighting the struggles African Americans faced in the twentieth century, and well known for her African mask paintings. With Jones' artwork for inspiration, the student artists will incorporate a variety of materials to construct a 3D element while drawing on their individual creativity.
