Fire Protection Assessment Fee Hardship Exempt Application

The Hardship Exemption for the City of Miramar Fire Protection Assessment fee is available to owner occupied, income-eligible households with an assessed value of $250,000 or less. Effective 2004, all residential units in Miramar were assessed a Fire Protection Assessment for a fee.

You may be eligible for a new assessment and an exemption from this fee is you meet the requirements and submit your application with all required documents before July 31, 2026.

Applications will be available in English, Creole and Spanish, May 1, 2026 and will be available at:
