The City of Miramar strives to keep all of our residents healthy and fit, no matter what age or stage you are in life. Our Parks & Recreation Department, in partnership with Tivity Health, has developed the Silver Sneakers, Prime and Whole Health Living fitness program, promoting the health and well-being of eligible members through a network of fitness providers. For our 65+ adults, this program is currently sponsored by Medicare health plans throughout the United States. With 16,000+ fitness locations from gyms to community centers, there are more participating fitness locations available in the U.S. to our members than there are Starbucks.
