City Offices Closed - Labor Day

City Hall will be closed on Monday, September 1st, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Parks are open from 8AM - 6PM and Garbage, Recycling, and Bulk Collection remain on schedule. No Community Shuttle Service on Labor Day.

City to Cease Adding Fluoride in Drinking Water Effective July 1, 2025

The City of Miramar will discontinue adding fluoride in its water supply, effective July 1, 2025, as mandated by State Law. This decision comes after Governor Ron DeSantis signed Senate Bill 700 into law on May 15, 2025, prohibiting cities from adding fluoride to their drinking water supply.

MIRAMAR MARKS ANNIVERSARY WITH GREEN INITIATIVE ACROSS 4 PARKS

This commemorative effort is funded through the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service.

Incinerator Update

The vote on the Miami-Dade County incinerator has been postponed until July. From March to June, the County will gather information to determine the best option—incineration or landfill. Importantly, the Airport West location is still under consideration and has not been ruled out. We urge the community to stay engaged and informed—the fight is not over yet!
